ENEM mock exams

ENEM mock exams your school can apply, grade and track by class

Coordinators build the exam from questions drawn from the platform's bank by area and year, print named booklets and answer sheets, grade the sheets with a phone camera and follow each student's TRI-estimated score, area by area.

What it is

ENEM-format mock exams, from printing to class results

Edustra Mock Exams is the module where a school creates ENEM-format mock exams with questions drawn from the bank by area and year, applies them on paper with QR-identified answer sheets, grades the sheets by camera or PDF and follows each student's score per area. The score is estimated with a three-parameter TRI model using AI-estimated parameters, or with a linear model when parameters are missing; it is not Inep's official score.

Built for private schools that run mock exams in the final year and today print the exam in one place, grade it in another and consolidate scores in a spreadsheet.

  • Build

Pick the areas and the question years; the system draws questions from the platform's bank for each area. A cover page and an essay prompt are optional.

  • Apply and grade

One PDF per class with each student's booklet, essay and answer sheet. Sheets are read by camera or from a scanned PDF.

  • Track

Printing and grading progress per class, per-area scores, essay, final score and export to CSV, PDF, Word or XLSX.

How it works

A two-day mock exam, from drawing the questions to the final result

Follow Colégio Nova Geração's ENEM Mock Exam 2026 · 2nd edition, applied on paper to 3º ano A and 3º ano B: 62 students.

Choose areas and years; the system draws the questions

Day 1 covers Languages and Human Sciences (90 questions, 45 per area) plus the essay prompt. Day 2 covers Natural Sciences and Mathematics and starts numbering at question 91. In each area, the system draws questions from the platform's bank among the chosen years; the draw does not balance difficulty.

  • In-person format: the booklet is printed and graded afterwards
  • Optional cover page and essay prompt, edited in the platform
  • The two days are linked into one 2-day mock exam

What coordinators do with the results

Each day of the mock exam has its own results list, and every graded sheet can be opened and checked.

Demo · illustrative data

Results per exam

Total attempts, how many were finished, average and highest score, with one row per student: source (paper or digital), status, correct answers and score. Filter by class or status.

Check a sheet

Open the student's answer key next to the answer sheet image. If a mark was misread, change the answer: the score is recalculated right away and the sheet can be marked as reviewed.

Take it to the meeting

Export the list to CSV, PDF or Word. For a 2-day mock exam, the final result exports to CSV or XLSX.

How the score is calculated

What the mock exam TRI score is, and what it is not

The score appears as "Estimated Score (TRI)". We explain the calculation so the school can use the number without drawing conclusions it does not support.

  • The model

Each area is scored with the three-parameter logistic model (discrimination, difficulty and guessing) and EAP estimation, converted to the 500 + 100 × θ scale and shown between 200 and 1000. A blank answer counts as wrong.

  • The parameters

Each question's parameters are AI-estimated from the statement and the alternatives. In the ENEM, Inep calibrates parameters with student responses. That makes the score an ENEM-shaped estimate, not a score anchored to the exam population.

  • When parameters are missing

If fewer than 80% of an area's questions have parameters (typical for a school's own questions), that area is scored by a linear model from 300 to 900, weighted by difficulty.

  • Overall and final score

A booklet score is the plain average of its areas. In a 2-day mock exam, the final score is the plain average of LC, CH, CN, MT and the essay.

Student practice

Between mock exams, students practise online

In Free Practice, students create a by-area or quick mock exam themselves and take it in the browser or on their phone. Camila Rocha practises Mathematics with 45 questions.

Exam pacing

A countdown with the time remaining, a question map, flag for review and automatic submission when time runs out. Each answer is saved on the server as soon as it is marked.

Result on finishing

On finishing, the student sees the estimated score with the notice that it does not replace the official score, plus correct, incorrect and blank answers, total time and, when review is enabled, the full answer key.

Free Practice belongs to the student: it does not replace the school's mock exam and does not appear in the class results list.

Frequently asked questions

What schools ask about mock exams

Straight answers about applying, grading, scores and limits.

Is the mock exam score the official ENEM score?

No. Edustra calculates an estimated score with the three-parameter TRI model, but question parameters are AI-estimated, not calibrated by Inep with student responses. The score is for following the same student or class across mock exams on the platform; it does not predict the ENEM result.

How is the TRI score calculated?

Each area is scored with the three-parameter logistic model and EAP estimation, on the 500 + 100 × θ scale, shown between 200 and 1000. A blank answer counts as wrong. If fewer than 80% of an area's questions have parameters, that area uses a linear model from 300 to 900. The booklet score is the plain average of its areas.

Do we need a scanner or an optical reader?

No. Teachers grade with a phone camera, by uploading photos, or by uploading a multi-page scanned PDF if the school prefers the copier. The sheet's QR code identifies the student and the exam; doubtful marks, such as multiple marks, go to review.

Does the mock exam include the essay?

Yes, in the paper mock exam. The essay prompt and the draft sheet are printed in the booklet. Afterwards, the teacher uploads photos of the essays, checks the AI transcription and confirms it; the essay is graded with AI across the five competencies and the score goes into the final result. There is no typed online essay inside the mock exam.

Can we apply it over two days, like the ENEM?

Yes. The school links the Day 1 exam to the Day 2 exam. The final score is the plain average of LC, CH, CN, MT and the essay, and the school decides what happens to students who miss a day: no final score, as in the ENEM, or a partial score with the areas taken.

Where do the questions come from?

From the platform's question bank, organized by subject and year. In ENEM mock exams, the system draws each area's questions among the chosen years, without balancing difficulty. To pick each question, the school builds a custom test; the booklet can be reviewed before printing.

Do students take the mock exam online?

The complete path a school uses to apply and grade a class mock exam is in person, on paper. Online, students practise on their own in Free Practice, with a timer, a question map and an estimated score at the end.

Do students see their paper exam result?

An in-person mock exam only shows up for the student after their sheet is graded. Coordinators see the full list, check each sheet and export the results.

Do parents receive the result?

There is no parent area and no automatic delivery of results in mock exams. The school shares results as it prefers, from the files exported to CSV, XLSX, PDF or Word.

Is the module sold separately?

Mock exams are part of the school platform and are enabled per school. In the demo, we talk about your classes, your mock exam calendar and what your team needs.
