Create a room, project the code, and students join from their phones to answer questions from previous ENEM editions, with a live leaderboard on the classroom screen.
From creating the room to the first question, with nothing to install.
1
Create the room
Enter the room name, school and email, pick ENEM areas or specific subjects, the difficulty, 4 to 30 questions and 10 to 60 seconds per question. Questions are drawn on the spot from Edustra's question bank.
2
Share the code
Project the 6-digit code. Students go to edustra.com/quiz, type the code and a nickname, with no account and no app download.
3
Play together
Each question appears with a countdown. Students answer on their phones and the leaderboard updates live every round.
Why use it
ENEM content ready for the classroom
In this tool you don't write questions: the content comes from the question bank.
Question bank
Questions from previous ENEM editions, drawn on the spot
You don't have to write a single question. Pick the topics and the system builds the match from questions that actually appeared on the ENEM, balanced across the areas you selected.
Filter by knowledge area, by specific subject and, if you want, by topic
Choose the level: easy, medium, hard or mixed
Every room draws the questions again
Simple entry
Students join with a code and a nickname
No signup for students: they type the room code and a nickname and they are playing, on any phone with a browser.
No app to install and no student email required
Works on Android, iPhone, tablet or laptop
The teacher creates no account or password; they enter email and school when creating the room
Engagement
Speed-based scoring and a live leaderboard
A correct answer is worth more the faster it comes, which keeps the class alert from start to finish. Between questions the leaderboard shows on the projector and becomes part of the lesson.
Visible countdown and points that decay over time
Podium with the top three at the end of the match
Every student sees their own position on their phone
Quick check
A quick check during the lesson
For every question you see how many students have answered. The correct alternative appears when time runs out or everyone has answered, and you can move on earlier. It helps you notice, at the pace of the lesson, which topics need review.
The answer appears when time runs out or everyone answers
Counter of students who have answered
Good for pre-exam review and lesson warm-ups
When to use it
Ways to fit the quiz into your lesson
Suggested moments in a lesson to use the quiz.
Pre-ENEM review
In the weeks before the exam, run matches by area to review a lot of content quickly and spot gaps.
Lesson warm-up
Five questions at the start of class to recap the previous lesson and get the group focused.
Wrapping up a topic
When you finish a topic, a quick match on just that subject helps you see whether the class absorbed it.
Inter-class tournament
Create one room per class with the same subjects and note each final ranking to run a healthy competition in the school.
Large review sessions
In big review sessions the quiz gives everyone a way to take part from their own phone.
Low-pressure mock exam
A lighter alternative to the traditional mock exam, to keep contact with ENEM questions.
FAQ
Questions about the Live Quiz
What teachers usually ask before using it for the first time.
Is the Live Quiz really free?
Yes. Creating rooms and playing is free, we don't ask for a credit card and there is no paid tier for this tool. There is only a limit on rooms created per email per hour, to prevent abuse. Edustra offers it as a way to introduce the platform to teachers and schools.
Do my students need an account?
No. Students go to edustra.com/quiz, type the room's 6-digit code and pick a nickname. We don't ask students for an email or a password.
Does the teacher need an account?
There is no account or password. To create the room, the teacher enters the room name, the school name and an email. The room link appears on screen as soon as the room is created. By creating the room you also start receiving Edustra emails with news and content for teachers, and can cancel anytime through the unsubscribe link.
Where do the questions come from?
The questions come from previous editions of the ENEM, with their original alternatives. You choose the knowledge areas or specific subjects and the difficulty level, and the system draws questions balanced across your selection.
How many students can join at once?
There's no defined participant limit per room. For very large classes or review sessions, it's worth testing the room in advance.
Do I need to install an app?
No. Everything runs in the browser, both on the screen you project and on the students' phones. It works on Android, iPhone, tablets and laptops.
Can I play online, without a projector?
Yes. When creating the room you choose where students see the question: on the big screen (in person), with phones showing only the colored answer shapes, or on the student's phone (online class or no projector), with the question and alternatives on their own device.
How many questions and how long per question?
From 4 to 30 questions per match and from 10 to 60 seconds per question. The default is 20 seconds.
How does scoring work?
Wrong answers score nothing. For correct ones, points vary with speed: answering fast earns close to a thousand points, while answering near the end of the timer earns around five hundred. This keeps the class engaged without punishing mistakes.
Can I pick a single subject, like just Biology?
Yes. Besides selecting whole ENEM areas, you can open the specific-subjects option and choose exactly the subjects you want, such as only Biology and Chemistry, or only History.
How is it different from Kahoot and other quiz tools?
The classroom dynamic is similar to other live quiz tools: a room with a code, answers from phones and a leaderboard. What differs here is the content: the questions come ready-made from the bank of previous ENEM editions, so you set up a match without writing questions. In return, you cannot create your own questions or use content other than the ENEM. We don't compare prices, plans or limits of other tools, which change over time: check their sites.
Is the room saved for later use?
Each room is created for a single match and expires 4 hours after it is created. For a new lesson, create another room; the questions will be drawn again.
Can I use it for exams other than the ENEM?
Today the Live Quiz public bank focuses on ENEM questions. Schools using the full Edustra platform can apply mock exams and follow each student's estimated score.
